Face Wash Roundup for Great Skin all Year!

When it comes to face wash there are all kinds of opinions and all kinds of options! Even if you use the most basic of skin care regime it will involve a face wash, so it’s important you find the right one(s) for your skin type.

Face Wash Roundup

I am combination/oily in my T-zone, I’m also super sensitive, and prone to breakouts just so you know what type of skin my products apply to.

It’s also not unheard of to change your face wash up during the seasons, your skin care needs do change. During the winter my skin needs a little more moisture due to the cold, so I stick to a wash that has more of a cream consistency. In the summer I double wash! All the humidity, heat, sunscreen, and sweating clogs up those pores quick. Your skin can also get used to products. It can stop solving your skin issues, so it’s smart to keep a few on hand.

There are those that swear up and down by oil washing, those that want a traditional sud, and those that like a daily exfoliation. Lucky for y’all I have options for each one of you in this Friday’s Fab ‘n Fit.

Before we get started, don’t forget to enter in our first GIVEAWAY. The chance to enter ends tomorrow!

Renee Rouleau’s AHA/BHA Deep Pore Cleanser:

Renee Rouleau AHABHA Deep Pore CleanserThis is one kick a** face wash by one kick a** lady. If you are going through a really bad breakout period you will want to use this face wash. The combination of AHA, BHA, salicylic, lactic, and glycolic acids come together to gently clean out your pores getting rid of any existing breakouts and eliminating future ones. It also contains jojoba beads for a daily exfoliation. It has a cream like texture with a granular feel, the scent is fresh with a hint of grapefruit, and does not leave your skin feeling tight or dry.

Suggestion: Use this face wash once a day, preferably at night time to give yourself a more thorough cleanse. Use a more mild wash for your AM routine.

Tata Harper Purifying Cleanser:Tata Harper Purifying Cleanser

I can not say enough about this brand to do it justice, nor can I say enough about Tata Harper’s Purifying Cleanser. I owe my new skin to this wash. It’s super gentle, but so effective. It also has a tingly fresh feeling that invigorates your skin. The combination of sugars, Broccoli extract, and fruit enzymes come together to remove build up, impurities, and dead skin cells. I love the texture of this face wash, the super fine sugars create a light exfoliation that even the most sensitive skin can withstand. It’s super silky with a fresh fruit smell. You won’t be able to stop washing your face.

Suggestion: This is gentle enough to use twice a day, but I like to use it in my AM routine. It wakes up my skin to get it going for the rest of the day.

Antipodes Juliet Skin-Brightening Gel Cleanser:

Antipodes Juliet Get CleanserI love this face wash, it is incredibly mild but really effective. Not to mention it smells like Kiwi’s. It is a more traditional face wash that lathers upon application. The mixture of New Zealand Kiwi’s, Manuka honey, hibiscus flower, and Vinanza grapes harmoniously come together to make a power packed antioxidant cleanser.

Suggestion: This would make for a great AM face wash. I like to use this as my second face wash in the evening, it leaves my skin clean but not stressed.

Kypris Cleanser Concentrate:Kypris Cleanser Concentrate

This is a newer product for Kypris, and I for one am so grateful for this face wash. Kypris Cleanser Concentrate is best described as a modern day cold cream. You apply the wash to your dry skin and add water as you massage it into your skin. The beautiful combination of over 30 active, natural ingredients like Prickly Pear and Moringa work their magic to leave you skin fresh, clean, and supple.

Suggestion: This face wash is really effective as a makeup remover. I like to use this in the evening to remove my makeup, then follow up with my second wash of Antipodes Juliet Skin-Brightening Gel Cleanser.

FatCo Cleansing Oil:FatCo Cleansing Oil

No matter how hard I try I can’t get oil cleansing to work for me. There are a lot of people that owe their skin recoveries to finding an oil cleanse that works for them. A company that I trust is FatCo. They have a cleansing oil line for normal/combination, dry, and oily. Each formula contains a different mixture of oils suited to those skin types. For example the normal/combo mix has castor oil, extra virgin olive oil, apricot kernel oil, sesame oil, avocado oil, macadamia nut oil, tamanu oil, argan oil, lavender essential oil, rosemary essential oil, and lemongrass essential oil. They also have a skin care kit that contains a cleansing oil, facial toner, and their Myrrhaculous Face Cream (which is an excellent moisturizer for super dry skin). I like that this is a super simple skin cleansing system.

Until next time, Stay well y’all!
