How do you keep a fresh face during a long week? You’ve been going non-stop all week, your alarm clock keeps going off earlier & earlier. You can’t hit the snooze button enough. Your body is drained but you have a full weekend, full of plans. How do you present yourself to the world without looking like you’ve been through hell and back?
This past weekend was filled with constant plans, and plane rides. I was exhausted but had to power through. I also wanted to make sure my skin, and face looked healthy. The last thing I wanted to hear hear was, “you look tired!” Thanks, I don’t know how to respond to that…
So how do you keep a fresh face when all you want to do is sleep for months?
Hydration and Plumping for a Fresh Face
A super, and crucial point to making sure you have a fresh face is hydration. Not only on your insides, but for your skin cells as well. When you add extra hydration to your skin cells you help them turn over quicker, appear plumber, and gives your face a more full appearance. I have several masks I keep on hand to make sure my skin cells are fresh and hydrated.
This is a fantastic plumping, morning mask to use before your day even starts. It will nurture your skin cells and your soul while you enjoy the luxurious scent. If you don’t have 20 minutes to spare in the AM, like me, you can defiantly still use this at the end of the day and follow with your favorite oil or moisturizer to bath your skin while you sleep.
For a mask that is fantastic at cooling off your skin, removing redness, and providing intense hydration for a fresh face, look no further than the Bio Calm Repair Masque. It’s a gel mask with a cooling gel texture and can be used at any time.
Skin Drink is an oil-free, hydrating serum. It goes deep into the skin layers to provided intense hydration and plump the cells. In Renee’s own words, “formulated with a high concentration of Hyaluronic Acid; it’s like drinking 8 glasses of water a day.” It’s best when used nightly to give your skin a deep hydration while you sleep.
All About the Eyes for a Fresh Face
A well known trick to freshen your face quickly is focusing on brightening the eyes. Your eyes are typically the place people notice first when something is off, not to mention if you have deep purple circles under your eyes it might be kind of noticeable.
Your number one item to freshen up your eyes is a great under eye concealer. Look no further than FitGlow’s Eye Bright. This baby is incredible. I have struggled with dark circles almost all my life (recently found out it’s linked to my adrenal system) I have tried hundreds of under eye concealers, and that’s not an exaggerated number I swear! This will forever by my eye concealer! It’s tinted yellow to correct the purple color, and filled with goodness to treat your delicate eye area all day. Not to mention it has caffeine to help vitalize and plump your under eyes! I’d also like to note I have incredibly sensitive eye areas, and this does NOT irritate them at all.
Another trick to instantly brighten your eyes, is with a highlighter eye pencil. For my super sensitive eyes, I trust Jane Iredale. This is also a double sided pencil with a white and pink option. You can use the white side to line the inner area of your bottom lid. Jane Iredale is safe to use for contact wearers, like myself. The pink side can be used to highlight the inner corners of your eyes for an immediate brightening affect.
After you’ve brightened your eye area you want to add a little color to your cheeks. By adding a touch of color to the apples of your cheeks you give your face an overall plump and awake look. It’s no secret about my love for Kjaer Weis, their products are so luxurious and do not break me out period. But I do know that it is a steep price to pay! So here are a few other options to look at: 100 Percent Pure, and Glory Boon. These are quality, organic, and cruelty free skin care lines I trust for you to put on your beautiful skin.
There you have it, a few tips for a fresh face! With these babies, you don’t have to think twice about someone telling you, you look tired! Now be sure to use your other makeup products that you don’t like to leave home without, mine would be mascara!!
Until next time, Stay well y’all!
